2 installation options:

Use factory installed tether anchor point. Max weight is determined by the vehicle manufacturer. See vehicles owner’s manual.
Install EZ-ON Tether anchor hardware kit. Drilling required.

You must use EZ-ON hardware tether kit (included) to install this conversion vest if the factory installed tether anchor weight limit is less than the weight of the passenger or if there is no tether anchor point available in your vehicle.

Great Tool for Modifying Lab Belt to 5-Point

This was easy to use with a floor tether to modify a lap belt into a 5-point harness with no booster needed.

Wrong weight limit advertised

The passenger weight limit is advertised as being 31-106lbs yet the label on the actual harness states 31-80lbs!!! Even the video from EZ ON states the passenger weight is between 31-106lbs. I messaged EZ ON and they told me to go by the weight limit of 31-80lbs that is printed on the harness.. This is complete false advertising!!!

Brilliant harness for kiddos too old or big for adaptive car seats!

We have a Dup15 10 year old whom we bought a Toyota Sienna for with an auto access seat to get him in and out of the car easily - however - most adaptive car seats for someone his size and age require some use of the lap belt to secure the seat and the auto access seat will not function this way. I bought this as he is big enough to sit without a car seat. I tried it in my Jeep Wranglers JKU and it worked amazingly well - one latch install some quick adjustments and we had an amazing solution. I will be trying it in the van this weekend but fully expect this to be an incredible long term solution to a real problem for kids with special needs.
